9. Worth four-dot test

Worth four-dot test demonstrates whether the child uses one eye or eyes in turn or both eyes simultaneously. The test uses in this version red-green glasses: there are two green dots, one red dot and one white dot visible. The dots were correctly named by the child. Seeing the white dot white means that fusion of the two images occurs in the visual cortex. A similar test that works even better at this age is Beren’s 3-picture test.

"Where do you see the red light?"
"This is red.. this is white.. and this is green."
