LEA Puzzle as a net version
Instructions: In each game the task is to select the form that is the same as the form that appears on the left side of the puzzle board when you click on one of the forms at the lower edge of the screen. The child activates the one of the four cut-outs on the puzzle board that he thinks has the same form as the one on the left.
Game 1. In this game the four puzzle cut-outs are the same as in the real LEA Puzzle. Thus the correct form may be found based on matching colours. If the child chooses a wrong cut-out, it becomes darker. If the choice is correct, the puzzle piece jumps into the correct place.
Game 2. In this game all cut-outs have the same colour. The child needs to see and recognise the form based on colour information.
Game 3. In this game the locations and colours of the four cut-outs have been changed. The child should click on the cut-out that has the same form as the form of the puzzle piece on the left but has different colour. Again, if the choice is incorrect the colour becomes darker. If it is correct, the puzzle piece jumps into its place.
Game 4. is the same as Game 3 but the locations and the colours have been changed.
Game 5. This is the black-and-white side of the puzzle. The puzzle piece jumps on the left side of the screen when its picture is activated at the lower edge of the screen. The task is again to choose the form out of the four possible forms that is the same as the form on the left. If the choice is wrong the white surface of the cut-out becomes grey. If the choice is correct, a smiling face appears.
Some children function in this task better if they can place the real puzzle pieces on prints of the different puzzle board pictures. If you have a colour printer, you can print pictures of the puzzle boards.
